If you know me at all, you’ll know that jewellery is totally my thing. Silver jewellery to be exact. If I was ever to release a product line, you can pretty much be sure it’ll be silver jewellery. Ever since I was a little kid, it’s always been my favourite thing, it’s always been something I’ve obsessed over and to this day, something I have such a passion for. I honestly could spend a good few hours just scrolling the internet, looking for the perfect pieces.
Over the last couple of months, the collection has grown. I’ve added some incredible pieces and I’m more in love with the collection now, than ever before. Check out this blog post >> HERE << to see me introduce those new pieces. But for today’s post, I thought I would talk you through a few of my favourite pieces, delve a little deeper into why I love them so much and give you a close up look at the entire collection.
// The Favourite \\
Let’s start with my very favourite piece. My Tiffany ring. To this day, it’s the most expensive piece of jewellery/clothing I’ve ever bought myself. It still remains my very favourite piece and it’s something that never leaves my hand. I bought this ring about 4 years when I first got promoted at work. I received my promotion and then about a week later, I flew out to Florida on holiday. It was then, that I dropped into the Tiffany store and completely fell in love. A lot of umming & ahhhing and quite a few hundred dollars later, I walked out with this incredible ring.
What makes this so special is, it was the first ‘big’ gift I ever bought myself. It meant so much that I was financially comfortable enough to do that and also it celebrated such a great time in my life. I was on holiday with my family, everything was going well at work and it was actually the very start of my Instagram profile… I know, it’s funny how you remember the weird things. I will always love this ring and forever keep it in my possession.
// The Meaningful \\
Oh this necklace. My first and favourite necklace. Okay, when I say first necklace, It’s not my very first, but it’s the first one I’ve worn on a daily basis. For me, this is the perfect necklace. It’s cool, interesting, versatile and easy to wear on the daily. I was actually gifted this by Off The Map Jewellery and I never imagined I would love it so much. I’ve written up the blog post about this, so definitely head over and check that out >> HERE <<
Why this is so meaningful to me is because I will forever look at this and think of my travels. Off The Map is a travel inspired jewellery brand and this was gifted to me just a couple of weeks before heading to New Zealand. For years to come, I’ll look at this necklace and it’ll always remind me of this incredible time of my life. I’ll also look at this in years to come and be reminded of how cool it is that I actually get gifted things for my blog. A very special piece indeed.
// The Newest \\
Then we come onto the newest piece. This cuff by Jewellery Box. I’ve had quite a few dealings with Jewellery Box before, from them sponsoring events I’ve attended, to seeing them over social media. I’ve always been a huge fan of their stuff, so when we got talking about working on some collaborative content, I was thrilled. They sent over a couple of pieces but for me, this was the absolute highlight. A Stirling Silver cuff.
There’s something totally different about a bangle, that really set’s it aside from the everyday bracelet. I always think they completely transform a look, they look way more expensive and are just a little more eye catching. This particular bangle is Stirling silver, which is great and means it’s a lot more hardwearing. Not only that but with Jewellery Box, you also have the ability of engraving the item as well. So this cuff really does make for the perfect gift. Head over to their website now to check out their amazing pieces at really affordable prices.
As you’ll see, a running theme throughout this post is the memories. I think that’s what makes jewellery so special, the memory that comes alongside the item. Whether it’s someone special who gave it to you, whether you’ve inherited it or whether like me, you’ve saved up and finally treated yourself to that ring you’ve been lusting over for so long. The memories will live forever in the jewellery.
I hope you’ve enjoyed todays post, taking a close look into my jewellery collection.
I would like to thank Jewellery Box for gifting me the items mentioned and being the inspiration to today’s post. As usual, all opinions are my own.
