Well here we are at the end of June. Yet another month has flown by and we’re now over half way through 2018. I know right, how quick is this year going? With that said, let’s crack on with another monthly round up. June has been relatively quiet, nothing too crazy has happened but nevertheless, it’s been a gooden.
// Harbour Cruise \\
Let’s throw it all the way back to the beginning of the month. Along with Bournemouth Bloggers, I was invited along by City Cruises to attend a Harbour Cruise as part of the Poole Boat Show. I think this was probably one of the best events I’ve been to so far. The bloggers that attended were such a good group of people, the weather was perfect (not too hot, not too cold) and the time absolutely flew by. It was such a lovely afternoon and some sick content was created!
// Soap & Glory PR \\
I’ve been lucky enough to be added to the Soap & Glory PR list which is super exciting. I’m working with them as part of their #BabesOfGlory campaign which see’s the brand work with a few smaller bloggers… How incredible is that?! So as part of that work, I’ve received my first ever PR package. This may seem small for some people, but the dream of receiving PR packages from a brand has always seemed so far away. For it to have actually happened, seem’s crazy. For anyone interested, they sent me their Melty Talented which is a universal skin balm that works wonders!
// Father’s Day \\
Celebrating Father’s Day this year was made a little sweeter after being sent this cake from Bakerdays. Again, I don’t know how many times I can say this but I feel so incredibly lucky to be sent things by brands. We spent Father’s Day together, as a family. We had a BBQ at my uncles and it as a perfect afternoon.
// Brighton \\
I had a week off from the 9-5 this month. I managed to crack on and get so much blogging work done but in between blog work, Ciara and I snuck away down to Brighton. We picked the perfect day to go down. The weather was perfect, it was Ciara’s first time and we had such a chilled out day. Check out the vlog >> HERE <<
// The Perfect Date \\
My bestfriend & I went on the perfect date night. We went to the cinema to watch Oceans 8 which by the way, is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. The cast were perfectly hilarious, we decided to treat ourselves to the recliner chairs and I was hooked the entire time. To finish off the night, we decided to head to Five Guys. I’m now officially obsessed with their burgers and just want to live off them forever.
// Tommie Travels \\
Last but not least, a little bit of man lovin’. I’ve been following Tommie Travels for a few months now, but this month has seen us connect online and he has literally been a dreamboat. Both him & his girlfriend, Rebecca are the most kind, genuine people and are honestly out here to do good. They’ve massively helped in connecting me with other travel bloggers and have been so open in giving tips on how to increase engagement & followers online. If you’re not already, head over and check out their pages. They’re about to head off on the mother of all road trips which I’m so excited to keep up with.
Although it’s been a quiet month, It’s been a good one. I’ve managed to get a lot done, I’ve had some amazing chill days but equally, some pretty hectic days of cramming everything in at once. I’m another step closer to the big move to New Zealand which is pretty scary. Stay tuned to my Youtube Channel for a Travel Essentials Video coming this Sunday.
Happy Hump Day, enjoy the rest of your week & I’ll see you back here on Monday!
