The April Roundup | By Harrison

I can’t believe I’m actually sat here, typing up yet another Monthly Roundup. Where has April gone? I swear to god, this year has completely flown by and for that, I’m not sad. Some pretty exciting things are happening this year, so I’m buzzing for them to come around. But first, let’s get into this months’ roundup.

// Cornwall \\

At the beginning of the month, the fam descended upon Cornwall to visit my auntie & uncle. In true Penzance spirit, the weather was miserable & the skies were grey. Nevertheless, we didn’t let that stop us. We chucked on the coats and hit a coastal path for a very blistery walk. I’ve mentioned it before but I absolutely love Cornwall. This will always feature as a highlight for the month.

// My New Set Up \\

This month saw me drop some serious dough on a new camera set up. I’m trying to get back into vlogging more so I treated myself to a new camera. This is the Sony A5100 with the Manfrotto Pixi tripod. I’ll be doing a review on this camera once I’ve used it a bit more, so stay tuned for that. But for now, I’m loving it.

// Windsor \\

Ticking off another place from my list. This month Emma & I decided to hit up a Windsor to visit the queen… she wasn’t in which was rude, but we had a good day anyway. I also managed to use the trip as an excuse to try out my new bag (Blog post coming soon). I’ll tell you what though, Windsor is a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be.

// Blogger Shoot \\

Ciara and I randomly, one afternoon decided to go out on a photoshoot. Sometimes in life, the unplanned moments turn out to be the best. We ended up walking for miles, having a good old gossip, taking some of my favourite pictures and generally having the best time ever. Definitely a highlight and something we plan on doing again very soon.

// Blogger Event \\

And last but not least, the most recent highlight only actually happened last week (blog post coming Friday). A few Bournemouth Bloggers were invited to Christchurch Harbour Hotel & Spa for the launch of their new Alfresco Dining. It was the perfect evening as the weather had been so warm that day. We all had a good old catch up and a really lovely time.

It’s been a bit of a full on month. I keep alluding to something very exciting on all my social media and in my vlogs… it’ll be announced VERY soon. A lot has happened this month and I’m so excited for what’s to come. For now, BRING ON MAY!
