Not gonna lie, I’m so chuffed with how these flatlays have turned out. Don’t you just love it when that happens?
Anywho, today I thought I’d bring you another gift guide. This time we’re moving up the scale to ‘luxury‘ gifts that are tailored to the man in your life.
// Watches \\
Who doesn’t love a good watch. Man or woman, a watch is such a great, personal gift. There are so many variations, colours and styles that I truly believe there is that perfect watch out there for everyone. You can even push the boat out and get them engraved.
Watches don’t have to be luxury. There are also so many price variations that you really have the freedom to spend what you want. This Abbot Lyon watch cost me around £75. I picked this up when they had a 20% sale. So this, in my opinion is definitely up at the more luxury end of the prezzie-scale.
// Face & Beauty \\
More and more guys are now embracing the male grooming phenomenon and really taking care of their skin. I know from experience, my Dad NEVER would have even had a moisturiser in his bathroom until recently. Now (with then help of me) he’s all over the creams, potions & lotions.
So, boys & girls, embrace this trend and treat yo’ man to some good old skincare.
I picked out this L’occitane shave cream. This is from their CADE range and it smells incredible. They do a whole range varying from the shave cream, to shower gel and even an aftershave. If you really want to push the boat out, you can get him the whole set but if you’re just looking to pick up and individual item like this, it will set you back about £20. So for what it is, it’s definitely a luxury item.
// Aftershave \\
The staple present for any guy. It really is the epitome of an easy gift. It’s a little pricey, they’ve probably got a signature scent and you really can’t go wrong. Again, you can spend as much or as little as you want.
If they’re not fussy on brand/scent, you can go down the route of a body mist/spray or if they’re particular or you want to give them that extra special gift, you can hit up the fragrance section of boots, spritz your life away and come home with the ideal gift for your man.
Two fragrances that I’m completely obsessed with are the Gucci Made To Measure and the YSL L’Homme. Both very different scents, both very expensive scents but equally they’re both very special scents. Each of these will set you back about £70-£80, so beware, you’re going in heavy if you’re getting one of these!
Mum, Dad, if you’re reading this… I’m out nearly all out. * cough cough *
// Gadgets \\
Being very stereotypical here, but most guys love a good gadget. From gaming consoles, to drones and all the way to a good old fashioned camera. You really are heading in for some good girlfriend/boyfriend points if you’re picking up a gadget or two.
I chose this. The GoPro Hero Session. It’s an incredible camera, it’s so light and easy to carry around, it’s bloody easy to use and the footage is insane. As far as the GoPro range goes, this is definitely down on the cheaper end of the scale, but luxury nevertheless. This is going to set you back around £150 give or take. I’m sure you can pick them up on Gumtree or Ebay for cheaper and who’s to know.
However you get your hands on one, I’m sure your guy is going to love it!
I hope this blog post has reached you all in time to get those last minute presents in before the big day!
I hope you all have a great rest of the week, get festive & I’ll see you back here on Friday!
