Firstly can we appreciate my new back drop? I’ve jumped on the ‘millennial pink’ bandwagon and I’m loving it. So head’s up, there will be more of this coming in future posts.
You would’ve seen last week, I bought you my new and improved morning routine. If you missed it, check out that blog post >> HERE << So with that in mind, I thought I would bring you my evening routine.
I seem to have perfected my evening routine, simplified it massively & I’m loving it. I’ll tell you what, I’ve noticed a massive difference in my skin since I’ve stuck to a regular, simplified routine and one that my skin is agreeing with.
So let’s jump into it. This is my evening skin routine, from start to finish.
// Cleanse \\
Product: Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
So firstly I actually brush my teeth… but after that, the first step is to cleanse. Without fail, I will always cleanse in the evening. It’s to important to ‘take the day off’ and fully give your skin the cleanse it needs. I’m absolutely loving the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser as you all know, I’m just buzzing for October when I can order it and have it delivered to the UK.
// Serum \\
Product: The Ordinary Retinoid
After cleansing, I then use a serum. The serum I am loving right now is this, The Ordinary Retinoid Serum. This is a relatively new discovery, although one I have already repurchased. I was always very sceptical of serums, I didn’t really see the point. But after seeing other bloggers talk about this brand & also seeing it stocked on ASOS, I decided to pick it up and give it a go. The results I’ve seen with this, are pretty incredible. It’s evened the complexion of my skin & now my routine wouldn’t be the same without it.
// Lips \\
Product: Glossier Balm Dot Com
To finish off with, I pop on some lip balm and head to bed. I’ve got a massive obsession with lip balm and now think my lips rely on the stuff. I couldn’t go to bed without. My favourite right now is Balm Dot Com from Glossier, however I’m also loving my L’occitane lip balm. This just adds that last bit of moisture to complete my evening routine.
So there you have it, a very simple evening skin routine. I truly believe, any kind of skin routine doesn’t need to be complicated. The simpler, the better.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post & I’ll see you back here on Friday to finish off the week!
