For the life of me, I cannot master doing ‘Monthly Favourites‘. Before I know it, the month has gone & I haven’t even began to think about a favourites post. Where the hell does time go? Anyway, with that in mind, you will notice the title of this post is ‘Recent Favourites‘ and that’s exactly what it is, a few things I’ve been loving recently.
// The T-Shirt \\
Kicking things off, let’s talk t-shirts. I’ve been obsessed with t-shirts recently. I’ve been loving playing around with different styles, patterns and colours and this obsession began with this t-shirt. As you would’ve seen, I took this to New York with me and that’s where I completely fell in love. Pink was a bit of a statement for me, but I’ve soon realised I’ve got so much wear out of this, it goes with so much and I’ve loved styling this. Definitely a great find… plus it’s on sale at ASOS!
// The Watch \\
You would’ve also seen this plastered all over my social media. It’s my new Abbott Lyon watch and I absolutely cannot stop wearing it. I had been eyeing this up for a while and last month I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase. I have absolutely no regrets #NoRagrets. This watch goes with absolutely anything, it compliments any outfit and I’ve had sooooooo many compliments. I’m going to put it out there and say this may be my favourite, favourite.
// Glossier \\
A couple of weeks ago I put up a complete review of Glossier & the products I’ve tried >>BLOG POST HERE<< ,so you’ll be able to see my complete opinion on the brand. But since doing that post, I feel I’ve fallen more and more in love with the products. In particular the Milky Jelly Cleanser and the Balm Dot Com. I’m obsessed with how easy the cleanser is to use, yet how great the results are. As for the balm dot com, It’s given a new meaning to lip balm. Glossier as a brand is definitely a grower… annndddd It’s shipping to the UK, like really soon!
// The Scent \\
This is an old, new favourite. I got this YSL aftershave for christmas and absolutely loved it. But I then kind of went off it, tried out new scents and stopped using it for a while. Well recently, I have picked up this scent again and have been completely loving it. It’s such a unique smell that I really love, it smells expensive (if thats possible) and it’s been my ‘go to‘ scent for a couple of weeks now. It ain’t cheap, but #TreatYoSelf!
// The Ordinary \\
Last but absolutely by no means least, The Ordinary. I’ve again, done a blog post on this >>HERE<< so check that out for a full review. But I have been noticing and loving the results of this serum ever since I bought it. So much so that as I type this, I have another bottle on it’s way in the post. A cheap, incredible quality brand with impeccable results. What’s even better, ASOS stock this! That plus my unlimited next day delivery… we’re onto a winner!!
It seems to have been a month of products. But you know, sometimes it goes like that. I’ve loved experimenting with new things, trying out a bunch of new stuff and enjoying the new purchases in my life. My credit card however, not so much!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this rather chatty post. Click all the links to shop the brands I’ve discussed, leave a comment below with some of your favourites & I’ll see you back here on Wednesday for part 2 of my ‘Summer Series’.
