My Love Of Lip Balm | By Harrison

I could spend some serious moolah on lip balms. Different brands, different scents, different finishes. They all come in handy and all have a purpose. I’m that person that likes to have a lip balm everywhere. My car, my office, my bag, my room, just everywhere… If I can’t get my hands on a lip balm, I’m screwed.

So today, I thought I would talk you through my updated lip balm faves. I’ve done a post on the old blog, ages ago, but it’s time for an update.

Without further ado, let’s talk lip balms.

// My All Time Fave \\

I’ve mentioned this time and time again, but my all time favourite lip balm has to be Carmex. A good all-rounder, reliable & smells great. A small tube that seems to last forever! It’s probably not the most long lasting lip balm, but it’s great value for what it does.

// A New Fave \\

I know, I know, I keep mentioning New York. But incase you didn’t know, I’ve just got back from New York. Whilst there, I picked up a few Glossier bits, one of which was the Balm Dot Com. A universal lip & skin balm providing copious amounts of moisture. Absolutely loving this at the moment and I would highly recommend it… if you can get your hands on it.

// The Scrub \\

I don’t really use this in the summer. It’s more towards the winter months when your skin is feeling a bit dry and looking a little sorry for itself. A lip scrub comes in really handy to get rid of those dead skin cells & revitalise your lips (hold for the pun…). I’ve been using and loving this Lush Lip Scrub since Christmas & the results are great. The only thing I don’t like, is the sickly popcorn scent. Other than that, a great purchase.

It’s not to everyones taste, but to me, lip balm is the key to life. Okay, maybe that’s a bit OTT, however I do really love the stuff.

Any suggestions for me to try? Leave a comment below & I’ll check it out.

For now, I’m off to work. It’s hump day so we’re very nearly into the latter part of the week. Enjoy & I’ll see you back here on Friday!
